1978 corvette engine color

I'm rebuilding an engine for a 1978 Corvette, the engine we removed was a
bluish green color and I would like to maintain the authenticity of the car so ,
what would the color code Be?

chevy orange engine enamel, 500 degrees or more

I'm pretty sure they should be blue. My 78 was orange but I can see overspray on throttle cable , kickdown cable , ect.

Nope! The unleaded engines had the GM blue color. The internet says Plasticote Chevrolet Blue #201.
