HOW TO FIT 22IN RIMS ON 2002 LEXUS RX300

i have a  lexus rx 300 2002 , i just bought 22in rims, and 265/40/22 tires, the
front clears perfectly, but the rear strut is in the way, i used bottle jack to
pushup but sti;ll too tight, i also used washers on the studs to space out a bit,
what are my options now? i really dont want to buy new small tires PLEASE
HELP ME
