Will changing wheels not bought from a Lexus dealer void my warranty?

Asked by chipmaster Nov 02, 2015 at 11:25 PM about the 2013 Lexus RX 350 AWD

Question type: Car Customization

I just bought a certified used 2013 RX 350 with 18 inch wheels. It came with a
3-yr or 100K mile warranty. I would like to replace the wheels with 19 inch
models when I need new tires. After market wheels of same specs and design
are priced much less than what's at the dealers. Will my warranty be voided if I
don't buy wheels from a Lexus dealer? Thanks.

OK, skip the warranty from the dealer, finance the car through a Federal Credit Union and they will offer you a mechanical breakdown warranty, it's just as good. And, you'll save money.

Read your warranty first but I seriously doubt changing wheels will affect your warranty. Just don't jack it up and put 24's on it!
