Nada says any where from $3700 low retail to $14000 high retail. With yours needing work I would say it would be more along the lines of the low retail price or lower. That being said with these older model cars it really depends on the buyers in your local area. To someone not knowing much about these cars you might not be able to get $2000 for it with it not running. But for a buyer that is looking for one like yours to restore it could be worth much more.

so what would you suggest ? any help would be appreciated,it is in real good shape. People have stopped all summer long to ask about it but it wasn't for sale then. should I start with low retail and adjust according to interest ?

Yes if your not planning on fixing the fuel pump first. But clean it up real good inside and out. It would also help to take some clear tire shine spray it on a rag and wipe down the engine compartment real good.( do not spray it or water directly on engine). This will bring the shine back to all the hoses and metal parts in there. But consider fixing the fuel pump. If the car was running you could ask a good bit more for it and be firm about your price. With it not running folks are going to low ball you pretty bad because they will not be sure that the fuel pump is the only issue with the car.

What did you pay for the car how long have you had it and how much are you willing to sell it for ? If it's a good price maybe I can solve your problem completely
