My 88 camaro came stock fuel injected V6 and it now has a carburated V8 in it. Can I eliminate the computer all together or do i still need it for certain thing to function properly ?

should work without it- unless it controls the tranny- or the fuel pump- on that year, you should be safe- you would think, if it is running good, that somebody already thought of all that-
