I have an 89 camaro iroc z that wont start .....when i
turn the ignition swith on the needles on the gauges
max out and the car wont crank ......what could it
be???

Not sure if its the same set up, i had a '92 did the same thing. Mine had the security chip in the key. Ended up having to change the the whole ignition switch
