I think it's the transmission?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an older vw motor and trans in a rail built from a kit.  It just stopped moving when put in gear.  I pulled the motor and the clutch is good and working.  The shaft from the trans is not broke as suspected. It feels like the shaft is connecting to the wheels. Does anyone know where else to look?
