Will a 1999 Dodge ram motor fit in a 2006
Dodge ram truck?

Don' t think so. The 2002 - 2009 is Gen 3, while the 1996 - 2001 is Gen 2. The 318 and 359 were the common engines for Gen 2 while the 4.7 and 5.7 Hemi were built for Gen 3. The motor mounts aren't even remotely the same either
