2000 dakota motor swap

i have a 2000 dodge dakota that has a blown engine by the vin it say 318 but was told it was swaped for a 360 and i have a 1999 durango that has a 360 but the front end is wrecked would like to know if i could swap it or not

even if they are Dodge they are not same model and parts are not the same. You can do it, but then you might damage something else.

ferdiv is correct. Even the difference between a 318 and a 360 could mean the wrong trany and cause heavy load on undersized trany. Also, may require different radiator, and also the PCM computer would need to be changed.
