I'd suggest getting ready struts if you don't have too many tools and plan on doing the job yourself. Do not attempt to take the center nut off without spring compressors. There are usually three or four outer stud nuts that the top of mount bolts through the frame of car. On many vehicles it is necessary to dismount several other parts such as sway bar links and disconnect the lower control arm ball joint to actually remove the whole assembly out of the vehicle. If you do not have any experience with suspension work it may be cost effective to have a local shop do the job for you. Good Luck!
