I got 97 k1500 with a 350 can I put a 90 model Chevy 350 engine in it

No, not without a lot of modifications. For one, the '97 has a OBDII computer to run the engine and transmission and the engine is a Vortec multi port fuel injected engine, where as the '90 has a OBD1 computer to run the engine and transmission, and the engine has a TBI set-up on it. The parts do not interchange.

Since my State does not require smog tests, I always forget about that factor of emissions test ...lol
