98 350 engine wont start just put it in

I just put a 350 in a 1998 4x4 Chevy all hook
up but want do anything I can cross the
starter with a screw driver it will try to turn
over then any. Ideas.

was the new motor a match or a generic 350 for more power ? starter relay ? If some of the electronics aren't hooked up it might give you trouble .
