Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I've done countless hours of research and
found a 2006 subaru impreza wrx sti for sale
for 15,900 with 118k miles. I've also found a
2012 subaru impreza wrx with about 40ish 50k
miles for almost the same price like around
17,000 or so. My question is should I go with
an older sti ( which I love) or the somewhat
newer wrx? I feel like the sti might break on me
more than the newer wrx but the i don't think
the newer wrx is as fast or reliable as the older
sti.

Me, I would save my pennies and try to get a newer car with lower miles....

They will both be breaking, there fun to drive but Subaru's after a few years old do what they do best, cost you tons of money in parts & repairs. The WRX's get drove hard, they also need computer tunes to often, and for simple reasons (new exhaust) you could drive any other car for years and not have those issues alone, not to mention the high parts & mechanic cost.
