4 wheel steering

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 silverado ex cab short bed with 4x4
AND  4 wheel steering. It has 115,000 miles.  What
maintenence does the  4w steering need? This is a
great truck but there is something flaky with the
rolling gear that I feel .

Well, you keep what ever grease fittings greased, and just have to keep up with worn suspension parts, checking them periodically. You are noticing something going on so it is just a matter of inspection.

This trick set up must rely on computers to work properly- idk- how did pick ups ever haul manure without 4 wheel steer? get rid of it-
