My 2001 Chevy Suburban will go into reverse but will not drive when I put it in drive why

The gear shift fine when I put it in reverse it
goes backwards when I put it in drive it
does not go forward any drive 1 2 3 neither
does when I put it into 4 wheel drive it move
either
