95 Aerostar Idler pulley

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1995 Ford Aerostar.  The idler pulley was squeaking so replaced it. It stopped the squeak but not sure how tight to get the bolt.  If I get it too tight it won't turn. Any suggestions? thank you. Stevo

UPDATE: this was a defective plastic pulley that did not fit quite right. I shall be more careful ordering this type of plastic pulley, it looked like it would fit perfectly, but no. Thanks. .. ..... ..
