If you swapped out the steering column then that means you are using a different key than the original master key programmed to your car. The NEW key, belonging to the new steering column lock cylinder you installed, will have to be programmed into the car in order to not trigger the anti theft. You'll need the services of a locksmith that can program keys OR the dealership. A mobile locksmith might be able to come to you if you can't drive.
