My 2017 is currently at the dealership for recall repairs for the 2nd time. I had no problems with the car before I dropped it off the first time but when I got it back I drove straight home put in in park, turned engine off and message on dash telling me to shift to park, it was already in park. The following day driving on freeway I pushed accelerator and felt the power cut off, hesitate then accelerate a little then cut out again, hesitate then accelerate every time I pushed on the gas and it got so bad I thought the car was going to break down and check engine light came on and stayed on as well as warring messages on dash, shift to park. battery saver active, check battery charging system, check engine light and check battery light. Today dealership said needs new battery (I just replaced the battery 6 months ago and has a 3 yr warranty) and the shift assembly needs replaced for the shift to park warning light, cost $488. I don't believe the shift assembly has anything to do with the loss of power issue. I'm out of warranty now and my car didn't have any of these problems before I left it there and they worked on it.
