Motor conversion from truck to a boat

I have a 03 chevy tahoe that has been totalled. The
Vortex 5.3l motor is undamaged. Can that motor
be converted to fit in a 1978 Mercury Century
Cruiser Boat?

If there is room for a v8 this is probably possible. You will need marine exhaust manifolds etc.

Will the exhaust from the Mercury. Fit with the Vortex? Or is that something that needs to be customized for? chevy

I am sure you will have customization to do since the boat had a different engine originally.
