Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I sold my truck to Keakealani for $8000.00 on April 30. We signed the HI state
form to transfer title. I think that completes the deal.  I think that is all that is
necessary? How much do I owe you for the listing?

Unless the deal went through AutoPay you owe nothing. AutoPay takes their fee out of the proceeds so you don't have to do anything. Most states want you to report the new buyers name and the miles on the car when it was sold. This protects you from liability in case Keakealani drinks too much Kahlua and runs some one down ;)
