I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4 by 4 4.3 vortec put
scan on it and says multiple misfires and right now
it will not start at all but if I take number 4 wire off
it'll fire right up but as soon as I put it back on it will
not start at all can someone explain to me why
You talking about number 4 spark plug wire? Will it do the same thing if you pull one of the others? In the past, pre-computer years, One tech tip, if battery is a little down, plug a spark plug. It's not fighting compression on that cylinder and that cylinder uses no spark voltage. I tried it one time, it worked. Of course that was about 50 years ago. I can't say if that relates to your issue?
Ok I'll try that thank you
