If i remove a spark plug wire it will start .but when i put the wire back on it shuts off and will not start unless i take the boot back off

My truck wont start unless i take off a plug
wire boot .then it will start but when i put the
boot back on it shuts off.i have fuel and a
little spark.

That is strange. Did you make sure the spark plug wires all go to the correct plugs?
