No fifth or reverse

U have a 2.0 ford ranger five speed and have lost
overdrive and reverse rest of my gears are fine
good pressure from clutch what is wrong

Most likely broke something inside the transmission, manuals don’t have solenoids like automatics so either they work or they don’t. You didn’t state what year it was but you might be money ahead just finding a good used transmission and swap out the whole assembly. Better do the clutch kit and slave cylinder while you right there.

Yeah that old just find a good used one, it will be cheaper than trying to fix the one you have.
