Seen on another thread for the fix and Hallelujah! Praise God this worked for me too. 2013 Edge Limited-Driver's side would only blow cold but the passenger side had heat. I powered on the car (full power, not just accessory power but not started), and used the dash board controls, not the touch screen, Touched the Climate Power button and the Defrost button at the same time, then the Power button again, started the car and tried it out. It worked like a charm!

This appears to have worked for me as well. Had to try a couple times. You can hear the "door" open.

We installed a new Ford Edge 2013 Blend Door actuator. We have tried the "Power & Defrost" reset. We have removed the Battery Cables for 5 minutes and crossed them for 1 minute to clear the settings. None of these things have helped. We still can not make the new blend door actuator talk to our computer screen. Any suggestion?

This has happened to me twice now. The first time i tried the control panel fix it didn't work and eventually several days later the A/C started working properly again. It happened again yesterday. Tried this fix and it worked but it took about 4 or 5 times to get the sequence to work. I don't remember exactly how but one thing I noticed. When I got the sequence correct of pressing the buttons, the colored ambient lights started flashing. I waited for that to finished then restarted the A/C and everything worked!!! Thanks!!

I just fixed mine right now. Did try the power/defrost combo but that didnt seem to work. Found a video on youtube where the guy simply found and unplugged the blend door actuator and re-plugged it back. I tried this, and it works like a charm! so far ...

Just had to do this earlier tonight! My partner called me in a panic because it happened while she driving for a rideshare company! This is what worked for be: I held down the power & defrost buttons (below the touchscreen) at the same time until the accessory lights (ambient lights) started flashing. When I turned the AC back on, cold sure blowing from driver AND passenger side! Thanks CarGurus!!
