Decline in fuel mileage

06 ,Accent 75000 miles. Runs perfectly. Mileage has gone from 32/33 mpg to 27/28 mpg over last 9 months. Always up to date on all service, filters, etc. No change in location or driver. Any ideas?

Check your tire pressures. I own a 2008 prius and increasing the air pressure to around 40 psi can give me an extra 2 MPG. Also have you switched to different octane gas? Has your right foot gotten any heavier lately? (change in driving style?). Also have your brakes checked to make sure none of them are sticking. Good luck.
