if it has a fuel distributor it prolly has cis. hard cold starting is usually a symptom of the warm up regulator either clogged or out of ajustment it is not easy to ajust correctly without guages. hard hot start usually is caused by a leaking one way valve at the fuel pump. easy to fix and cheap to buy at the dealership

I had the same problem on my 2.6. It turned out to be my throttle body and my temperature switch.
