Trying to fix while still under warranty

Sounds are just about impossible to diagnose online. Have another mechanic put it up on a rack and listen to it. Get the problem documented in writing and the dealer/Chevy will have to fix it. Contact Chevy directly and complain to them.

Have you ever heard of the starter shield being out of adjustment, and when it warms up a gasket expands and that's why the noise stops, or they just giving me a bs answer

Heat shields can make noise. Can you get them to install a new one? This really can't be that big of a deal to them as Chevy should pay for the job.

That's what I'm trying to do since this is the third in 2 weeks I've taken back but the shop manager says changing it wouldn't help, so I don't know ? If it doesn't get fixed this time, do as you said call Chevrolet directly myself, May get better results, thanks for your time and answers

You can always call another Chevy dealer and talk to the service manager and explain the issue and get their take on it. Doing this helped me out of a major problem with my new Subaru.
