What major issues will I be looking at to take 4.7 from a 2005 Dodge Durango and swap it into my 2008 Ram 1500 with 4.7?

Trying to determine if my 2004 Ram 1500 Qd cab 4wd 4.7 Liter automatic transmission is 46RE, 47RE, or 48RE so I can determine the band adjustment? Also I have never done a Band adjustment before and wonder if I should take it to a qualified Dodge mechanic, which however I do not trust dealers & most mechanics?Are the specs for band adjustment in Chilton trustworthy?Thank you for any reply I may be granted...I can turn wrenches :) 2 Answers
