SWB = CAN I SWAP A FLEET SIDE BED IN PLACE OF A STEP SIDE BED?
IT IS A 1985

I am pretty sure there are no frame differences. Compare the bolt pattern. Obviously you can't swap in a 8' bed onto a 6' bed frame.
