2000 Blazer no power to fuel relay

Asked by bigdogbabbs Nov 11, 2014 at 12:06 AM about the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All fuses are good. Turn on key and relay turns on for 2 to 3 seconds like it's supposed
to. Jumped fuel pump test terminal and pump kicked in.Started and engine ran, turned
off and wouldn't restart. Could ECM not suppling power to relay terminal #87?

Yes it could be a ECM but I would start with swapping the pump relay with one you know works (headlights, power window ect). Try starting it. If that doesn't work I would start at the fuse box and trace the wires all the way to the ECM. Look for broken, corroded or shorted wires. Also check for a bad ground.
