s10 engine difference

i have a 98 s10 4x4 and i found a 94 s10 with a engine that would go for my
s10. i dont know if there is a difference in engine mounts or coumputer stuff but
i would prefer to do a swap then engine work. please let me know asap about
the size or mounts

I think there was a change in 96 in the engines, so you really need to find at least a 96 engine, now I'm not going to say it won't work but you might be in for quite a hassle getting everything to work right using a much older engine.
