Is the key still stuck? the clicking in the shifter is because the key and break switch control the shifter lock. Usually when a key is stuck its because the shifter is not al the way in place or the key is worn and wont come free from the pins in the lock cylinder

Ok I figured it out on my on I drove it and shifted the gear from 4wd to the middle which caused the light to stop blinking and started driving back smooth again
