I need a tranny for a 2.4L eclipse spyder. I can't find one...help???

did u ever find a tranny? mine just went out on me last thursday : (

why dont you guys get a rebuild instead with some high performance parts in place of the regular ones? you get a warranty with most rebuild places and you would be set for future upgrades without worries of adding too much power

Mine didn't go out...I have a tranny for a 2.4L '01 eclipse in my '99 spyder. They're different and it doesn't run right...or I would just rebuild.

i just told my shop to rebuild it. it s going to cost $2200 but its better than trying to find something that i dont know how long it will last. my shop also includes a 2yr 24,000mile warranty too. since my car is my daily driver, i need it for work (once i find it) and such. its to bad mitsu had to basically use different parts for every different type of car.

Q. 2.0L turbo and the 2.4L non turbo are interchangeable A. yes they are but you might need to change out the shifter cables on the manual but i am not sure on the auto

try crossbreeding sum other mitsu transmission that will work !!! they're supposed 2 be interchangeable or just re-modified !!!!!
