I have read from reviews that M96 engine on the prosche boxter was not the best. To many blown engines, I am looking to buy a used Boxter and I am hesitant because of engine failure.

Can someone tell me which years are the best to look for when you are buying a used Boxter?

The later model years, post 2000 are better, but most of the problematic motors will have been replaced already, so I would not hesitate to pick up a Boxster from any year.

How much maintenance is required for the Porsche Boxter. Let's say you buy a 2001 boxster with 60,000 miles, what preventive maintenance should you do to make sure everything is OK?
