what year is the best year????

Im a a big 7.3 guy and i always thout the 99.5 was the best but also heard the 04 6.0 was a good year

you can't beat the 7.3L. and in 2002 they really figured that setup out and gave it an extra 20-30 hp. I have an 02 and it is a beast. It's a 4wd, crew cab, short bed, lariet with bumpers front and rear and a head ack rack and the thing still gets 28+ mpg!! I had some trany problems because I was running to hot chip setup and often towed close to twice the allowable wieght. It's got 200K miles on it and I wouldn't trade it for any other truck out there.

I have a 2002 F250 7.3V8 i have clocked up 732,000km (454,844 miles) I have changed the oil and filter every 8,000km (5000 miles) using Morris oil and fuel, air filters every third service I estimate my expenses other than normal tyres brakes etc would be no more than $6000.00 and almost every time a faulty component was due to a seal, o ring etc in the water pump steering pump and 5000km ago l replaced for first time relay and glow plugs.All my km have been done in rural Australia highways and dirt roads. Best of all l could sell it now for 40% of the purchase price.I have bought 57 vehicles in my lifetime besides the Macks the certainly is my favourite.It is a F250 7.3 V8 super cab with long boe 2.4m (8ft) Dale
