Power Windows Dont Work

Power Windows dont seem to be working, i looked at the manual for the fuses and was sort of confused. drivers double does not work and neither does the passenger switch. i bought the car off a friend to work on. hot weather is coming and i dont feel like being cooked like a turkey with no air.  any help is appreciated.
