whats bad if all controls stop working on drivers door

That can be a deadly malfunction and it's happened on quite a few GM cars. My 2009 G6 Drivers side door would click ... the unlock would pop up but the door refused to budge. Problem is that you can get at the mechanism unless the door is open and of course you can't get the door open.

If everything failed then it's probably the connector that goes to the controls on the door ,,, you did not say what year
