Why want my car crank

my car want crank been having problems with the battery
cables and a loose connection and gotten it boost off and it
would crank right up but now it want crank at all after
sitting for a couple days and its making a click mouse
when u try to crank it and then some kind of other sound
after you try to crank and turn the key back

Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. If much below that, put a charger on the battery and get it charged up. Make sure the battery connections are all good, as you mentioned. Then we'll see if starter motor will crank the engine, if I understand your post correctly?
