What is the biggest con to owning a RX-8? I really want one one day.

There is no "con", you just need to realize that it's a vehicle and vehicles require maintenance. This is not your moms Honda that requires nothing of you except filling gas. This is a delicate beast that needs to be driven hard here and there, and needs a strict maintenance routine. You need to check the oil frequently (every fillup), it injects oil into the engine to lubricate the seals. There's allot of research I would advise you to make asking random questions is not going to help.
