2008 pt cruiser,all runs right except gas cap loosens,and engine light comes on but wont
go off after putting tight back on

I have the same problem with 2006 model. I replaced gas cap and it, the new gas cap, does the same thing.

chrysler pt cruser 2.4 touring coolin fan assebled in anoth motor. can it work without problem or what is the anothe matter to do

chithranga, cruise control has never worked since I bought car (used) and no other lights are on. Thanks for your input.

Mime does the same thing. It takes about 4 trips before the light goes off
