Had a ignition control module replaced

Asked by Modot Jul 02, 2016 at 09:15 AM about the 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had the old ignition module changed due to the
old one testing bad, coils were fine after replacing
the module  after it sat for 5 months it started fine
then died bout 5 miin into the the test drive! Well
before whwn i started having probls with the
module it ran for awhile like til the module got
warmed up then it died. Now they said  that could
happen so i replaced the control module and now
its dying earlier and almost seems like a fuel prob
now! Could it be a sencer now somwhere?

This could be a fuel issue, best to have the fuel pressure checked after replacing the fuel filter. May be a fuel pump.
