A job worth doing

My wife has a 2005 Feista it's is in reasonable condition but
needs 2 big jobs ! The timing belt and the clutch both need
replacing and it will cost me approx £1000.00 my question
is if I do this work will it be worth it as the car is only worth
about £,1500 it is a good runner and has never let her
down.
