Engine/ transmission

Asked by Adam Jan 21, 2021 at 03:06 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 99 suburban. When I press the gas every
thing is fine for the most part, but when I floor it
for passing the transmission pops out of gear and
when I let off it goes back in. If I ease the throttle
down no issues. This only happens when I get on
the gas hard. Any input is greatly appreciated

Have no idea. I bought it 2 weeks ago and it has been sitting for a year
