72 Cutlass Supreme Air Filter

OK so recently ive devoted a lot of time to checking everything and replacing what needs
to be replaced in my 72 cutlass. Now i come to the air filter. Generally i see these circular
ruffled types of air filters but when i checked mine i didnt see anything like that. It has an
Edelbrock top and a circular gray styrofoam around it that says Accel. Is this how my air
filter should look? Thank you guys, i really appreciate all the help.

Great Thanks! So Can i keep this prefilter and then apply an actual air filter inside?
