Is there a 2001 Chevrolet blazer 4dr 4x4 that came with an 8 cylinder engine

trying to buy a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer 4dr 4x4 and the guy is telling me that it has an 8 cylinder engine,  Is this true or possible, if so what type of Blazer is it for example LT or LS.

Go to cars.com for all the spects on your Chevy. 4.3L, 195 HP was the only engine offered. Yours is an after market add on. I'd be careful of it. Prices go between $800 to $7,000. That type of set up tells me it has been driven hard, seen a lot of abuse, and is very tired.
