Why does my chevy trailblazer make a rattle noise from underneath

My Chevy trailblazer makes a rattle noise from the
rear end of the vehicle it... its getting louder what
could this be... I know it the rear end cause if I hit a
bump it always does it and it's coming from there...
but it also does it randomly just while drivin

check the exhaust hangers.shock mounts....


Sounds can radiate from different areas, what I thought was in the rear, was actually up front. More than likely this is a typical sound coming from your swaybar end links. You have 2 up front, and 2 in the rear., front ones normally go out first. Grab a hold of it and try shaking them, should be tight. When replacing them, get ones that are greasable. OEM didn't have that option. Try rocking the truck back and forth to try and replicate the sound.
