Get a small flat blade screwdriver and pry up on the top of the square metal piece that's just behind the indicator light assembly. The whole indicator light assembly will then slide back and out of the fender. Hope that helps! Jim

Or are you speaking about the bulb that illuminates the arrow on your dash when the signal stalk on the steering column is moved to the 'on" position?

In 1966 I believe there was a dash light that indicated your turn signal was illuminating. I am not sure when they started mounting an indicator on the tops of the fenders. Sorry.

1965 through 1968 had turn signal indicators on top of the front fenders only. None on the dash. 1969 and 70 had indicators on the dash. Beginning in 1971 you had indicators on the front fenders for turn signals, and headlights. Both high and low beam. Plus the turn signal indicators on the dash. The fender mounted indicators were fiber optic. The system included rear fiber optics for brake, taillight, and rear turn signal indicators that sat on the rear package shelf. In later years they were moved to the top of the rear window. Hope that helps! Jim
