I'm redoing my 1970 Buick Skylark. When I pulled the tank, a big sheet of some sort of thick rubbery material was in between the tank and the bottom of the trunk. it was pretty torn up so I decided to get rid of it I know that it was some sort of buffer between the two. I've been looking online and can't find what to use. Anyone have any ideas and finding a replacement??

You could use sound deadener. Put on a couple of layer to make it thick enough.

Yeah...I was hoping for something a little less expensive, but I think that's what I'm going to do
