2008 Cadillac Escalade will not start. It just makes one click sound when you turn it over.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The battery seems to be ok, lights
are all on. I've disconnected the
neutral battery cable, didn't work.

The battery is probly bad, even with the lights kicking on there is probly not enough juice to crank the engine. Batteries only tend to last 4 or 5 years and even less if used in a harsh climate.
