Catalytic converter was stolen, now my car is acting up

My cat converter was stolen and so I had to have a new one put on.  Now my car is very
rough when it is in reverse.  Can you tell me what is wrong?

Do you have the correct cats on the car? Is the program to the computer re flashed to the new computers?
